PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector whose entire size is compact sized, by simplifying its assembling, facilitating its optical axis adjustment, reducing is binding loss, and directly connecting an optical element with a light isolator. SOLUTION: In an optical connector 9 which has a cylindrical sleeve 6 and optically combines an optical fiber 8 with a wave guide 11 in the cylindrical sleeve 6, a light isolator 1 which is integrated to one end of the sleeve 6 and non-dependent type polarized wave, a lens 3, and an optical fiber 4 are installed in this order, the light wave guide 11 is directly connected to the light isolator 1, and a ferrule 7 connected to the optical fiber 8 is connected to the optical fiber 4 in the sleeve 6. |
