Decorative film for placing in mould prior to injection moulding

A decorative film for the "INMOLD" (RTM) process, i.e.for placing in the die prior to injection moulding, has a carrier film (1) supporting a lacquer (3) and decorative (4) layer which is attached to the component as the adhesive layer (5) melts during injection moulding. The carrier film (1) is a composite film consisting of a biaxially drawn polymer film and at least one applied layer of undrawn polyamide, polyurethane or polyester.
