The furniture fitment consists of two interlinked elements (1,4). A cam plate (6) is positioned on one fitment-element (1) and has a thrust piece (8) fixed to the other element (4). The cam plate is twisted away from the thrust piece against the force of a spring (11,21). The stop ring (7) of the spring-loaded cam plate exerts force on the other fitment element to block a swivel movement. The cam plate is turned by a control such as a loop (15) to release the blocking position.
