<p>A process for preparing a viscoelastic composition that includes the steps of: (a) exposing an essentially solvent-free, pre-viscoelastic composition that includes a reactive monomer to transmissive energy to form a viscoelastic composition that includes an amount of reactive monomer; and (b) exposing the viscoelastic composition to a dose of gamma radiation sufficient to reduce the amount of reactive monomer.</p> |
