<p>A coating applicator element for use in a thermal spray coating process is described. The element comprises a coating powder and a non-gaseous propellant, and optionally a plasma generating device. There is also described an apparatus for thermal spray coating a target which apparatus comprises a barrel, an ignition assembly, storage and feeding means for the coating applicator elements, and means for connection to a power supply.</p> |
