Image mapping and transmission method for LCD

The method involves exposing a picture with a first aspect ratio and a first size on a path like, light sensitive medium by using a LCD (24). The first size fills up the width of the medium. The LCD is rotated and a picture of a second size on the medium is exposed. The second size fills up the width of the medium. Preferably, the picture is exposed with a first resolution using the LCD. The rotation and the exposure of the picture is carried out with a second resolution on the medium. The pictures generated on the medium with the first and second resolution fill up the width of the medium.
