Vibration damper fabricated in thin sheet metal

The vibration damper consists of a cylinder (5) subdivided by a wall (1) into two chambers containing a gas or liquid. The wall rests on a pipe (2) with an elongated slot and made of sheet metal or strip. One end of the cylinder is widened (4) and has a liquid or gas filling hole (3) to one chamber (6) within the cylinder. The hole is sealed by a closure (7) after filling. A ring slot (8) links the pipe support and the filling hole.
