Lagged pipe floor stirrup for attaching insulated pipes

The fixing leg (2) is coated in elastomer (30) formed from a sector of a hollow extruded profile plugged onto the leg (28) and itself (30) profiled on the outside on the fixing side. The hole (33) in the leg is sized so that the elastomer material (3) is drawn in between hole rim and fixer (38) on insertion of the fixer nail etc. At the hole (34), the elastomer should be pre-holed to a diameter less than the main leg hole (34) and less than the outside diameter of the fixer nail etc. The lagged (22) pipe is held to the floor by means of the anchor stirrup (24) composed of bent metal part (26) and projecting fixer leg (28) to enclose the pipe lagging (22), using the leg hole (34) to pass the nail etc through into the floor, thus clamping the leg to the floor via the elastomer coating (30).
