The invention concerns a modular electric switch comprising a series of rotary switches (12) axially juxtaposed and each provided with a rotor (28), the rotors (28) being simultaneously driven in rotation, by a single control member, towards one or the other of their two contact positions in which, in each switch (12), a contact point (60) carried by the rotor (28) co-operates with one or the other of the two fixed contact pads (44a, 44b). The invention is characterised in that, when the rotor (28) moves between its two contact positions, the contact point (60) moves opposite an internal cylinder-arc-shaped face (68) of the switch (12) housing (14), and the internal face (68) is provided with ribs substantially oriented parallel to the rotor (28) axis (A1).
