Hinged device for holding machine tools used to process workpieces

The device holds tools, which preferably have CNC controlled axes and a receptacle attached to a machine axis. The device has a carrier arm (10) which is nonrotationally held in the receptacle. A holder (11) for the tool holder (5) can pivot about the pivot axis and is movable towards the carrier arm such that the longitudinal middle axis of the tool holder coincides with the axis (2) of the device or always intersects the axis at the same intersection point. The carrier arm is spaced by a fixed distance from the axis of the device and has a bearing head (15) in which the holder pivots about a pivot axis (3), which is inclined at an acute angle to the axis of the holder and intersects it at the intersection point. The holder has a tool holder a transverse distance from the bearing head and the pivot axis.
