The spring element (3) is spaced from both base (6) and plate (2) thus leaving a free space either side, and the spring is made of material with extreme internal friction. The spring is held round a sleeve (4) by friction and the sleeve itself steadily increases in thickness from spring (3) to base (6) and/or to the outer end. A thicker auxiliary sleeve (7) enclosing the main sleeve (4) is arranged between spring and plate (2) and/or between spring and base (6) and another plate can be fitted between base and sleeve.
