Prevotella bacterial strain

摘要

The following are claimed: (1) a bacterial strain Prevotella sp. S-1 (Bacteroidaceae family, deposited with the Korean Culture Center of Microorganisms (KCCM) under accession number KFCC-10 923 and modified by the KCCM International Deposit Authority into accession number KCCM-10 103 under the Treaty of Budapest); (2) preparation of metabolites of protopanaxadiol-saponin, comprising: (a) culturing the above strain in a medium with Panax-Ginseng-Saponin additive; (b) generating the protopanaxadiol-saponin metabolites 20-O- beta -D- glucopyranosyl-20(s)-protopanaxadiol (I), 20-O- alpha -L-arabinopyranosyl(1-6)- beta -D-glucopyranosyl-20(s)- protopanaxadiol (II) and 20-O- alpha -L-arabinopuranosyl(1-6)- beta -D-glucopyranosyl-20(s)- protopanaxadiol (III) in the medium, and (c) accumulating these metabolites.
