Fluidised bed sintering process for coating by fusion of nylon powder

摘要

A method for coating a pump casing, using a fluidised bed sintering process, the casing including functional surfaces e.g. support- and centring surfaces. The casing is firstly cleaned, and then the coating material is fused on, keeping the coating away from the functional surfaces using a thermally-insulated masking tool (3). The casing is fixed to the tool (3), which rests against the functional surfaces, acting as a cover.
