The calorimetric system has a heating system (2) for heating the sample, which has a first heating element (22) and a sample reception system, also a thermometer probe, for determining the temp. during the heating up operation. In addition a regulatable heating power supply, for supplying the heating system, such that a predetermined temp. variation of the sample is adjustable, depending on the determined temp. The heating system includes a second heating element (24), which related to a heating up of the sample is provided at a position, different from the position of the first heating element. Two heating systems (2, 4) are provided for the simultaneous heating up of a sample and a reference. The second heating element (24) is arranged in such a way opposite to the first heating element (22), that the sample reception for the sample, is located between the first and the second heating elements.
