Structure for joining metal parts with stable electrical characteristics

The structure for joining at least two metal parts (1, 2) consists of a ceramic sinter component with a joining section (3) housing the two, at least partially overlapping, metal parts in a bore (3a) shrunk by sintering. Joining the metal parts comprises introduction of these parts into the bore (3a) and sintering the component to shrink the bore. The ceramic heater unit includes at least one metal part serving as a heating element and two metal parts serving as leads. All metal parts are embedded in an electrically insulating ceramic material and are joined to one another by the method outlined above.
