<p>Photovoltaic cells (10) are mounted on a single substrate (1). The substrate is provided with current collector areas which are insulated in relation to each other. One collector area (2) is in electrical contact with a semi-conductor functional layer (3, 4) facing direct exposure to incident light without any costly transparent electrical conductor in the light path. The other current collector area (7) is insulated from the semi-conductor functional layer (3, 4) by ion-permeable means (6). The current collectors (2, 7), so mounted onto a single substrate (1), are adjacent to each other on the same side of the substrate (1) or on opposite sides of the substrate (1).</p> |
