<p>In this arrangement, a 4-roller mounting is arranged on the entry side (13) in the first roll stand during flattening and a double mounting is arranged on the entry sides (13) in the subsequent roll stands. The entry side (13) with the double mounting and the entry side (13) with the four roller mounting are provided with a cooling mechanism in the form of water containers (2) being situated on the entries' sides. The containers (2) have, in the direction of the roll pairs (4, 5), grooves (3) for metal chips and cooling water disposal, and before the transition into a lower area, there are openings (12), and, abrasive plates (7) are situated in guide jaws (1). The tripper (14) is provided on the exit side. The tripper (14) consists of an upper (9) and lower (10) plate. Side plates (8) are inserted in between the upper (9) and lower (10) plate. Cooling openings (15) are made in between the upper (9), lower (10) plate and the side plates (8). Offtake grooves (11) are made in the lower plate (10).</p> |
