A fluid dispenser has a dispensing pump (1) mounted on a reservoir (2) by a neck part (4) which forms a fixed part of the dispensing pump (1). The dispensing pump (1) has a movable part (12, 23) which moves relative to the neck part (4) to cause a pumping action. In that pumping action, fluid is drawn from the reservoir (2) via a tube (19) and a pump head (10) to be dispensed via an outlet (11). The head (10) is connected to the neck (4) by an adaptor (13). The adaptor (13) engages the neck (4) by a projection (14) and groove (15) arrangement which permits 360 DEG rotation of the adaptor (13) relative to the neck (4). Rotation of the part (12, 23) relative to the adaptor (13) is restricted by the engagement of a pin (30) and a channel (31). A slot (16) extends from the groove (15) and so permits removal of the adaptor (13), and hence the head (10), from the neck (4) at a single position. In this way, the reservoir can be re-filled by removal of the head (10) but the single position of removal avoiding removal of the head (10) by accident. <IMAGE> |
