PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce synthetic resin foam having an excellent thermal insulation, mechanical strengths, etc., by using a foaming agent that does not have hazard of depleting the ozone sphere, and has less effects on the global warming, flame retardancy, an appropriate boiling point and also sufficient compatibility with the foaming materials. SOLUTION: This synthetic resin foam, which is polyurethane or polyisocyanate foam, is produced by a reaction of a polyol with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence a low-boiling point organic compound-based foaming agent which is a mixture of 5-95wt.% of 1,1,1,3,3,-pentafluoropropane and 95-5wt.% of hydrocarbons whose boiling point ranges from 20 to 70 deg.C. |
