PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce intake noises without increasing the size of a device by disposing a communication pipe and an external air intake pipe roughly in parallel with an element and disposing the external air intake pipe to penetrate a second room in one having first and second rooms expanded by taking in external air. SOLUTION: External air taken in from an external air intake pipe 61 is expanded in a first expansion room 63, then air taken in via a communication pipe 62 is expanded again in a second expansion room 64 and then the air is taken in a cleaner room 66 via a flat air cleaner element 65. In this case, the first and second expansion rooms 63 and 64 are partitioned by a partition wall 67 as a first partition wall integrally formed with the communication pipe 62. Then, the communication pipe 62 and the external air intake pipe 61 are disposed roughly in parallel with the air cleaner element 65, the external air intake pipe 61 is disposed to penetrate the second expansion room 64 and thus the area of the air cleaner element 65 and the full lengths of the communication pipe 62 and the external air intake pipe 61 are secured, a cleaning ability is increased and intake noises are reduced. |
