PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and divide an adherend by making a head end part of a jig obtained by working a head end part of an ultrasonic plastic welder into a blade come into contact with an adhesive layer of the adherend to be separated, pressurizing it, and softening or melting the adhesive layer by generated frictional heat. SOLUTION: With a vibration energy of an ultrasonic plastic welder, a high frictional heat is generated between a jig and an adhesive layer of an adherend, which rises up to a temperature where an adhesive softens or melts, so that the adherend is separated and divided. As an example, a head end part D2 of the jig obtained by pressurizing a head end horn of an ultrasonic plastic welder D1 into a blade having a tip angle of about 7 deg. over a length of 50mm and a width of 254mm is made to come into contact with the adhesive layer C and is pressurized so as to separate and divide adherends A and B. Thus, the adhesive can separate and recover those substances such as a substance having a thermosetting resin like an epoxy resin as a main component, an organic solvent type elastomer like a chloroprene, and a water base thermoplastic resin like a water base EVA(ethylene vinyl acetate). |
