PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air bag device in which a J-shaped hook is assuredly prevented from being disengaged from a side bracket by using a back decorative member attached to the back surface of a seat back. SOLUTION: A hook 23 formed substantially in a J-shape which engages with the end part of a rear surface part 7 of a side bracket 5 is attached to the opening part of the back part 18 of a gore part 17 in an air bag module side 8. At least the free end part 23a with a U shape in section of the hook 23 is laterally pressed and supported by an engaging member 27 fixed to the end part 24a of a back decorative member 24. Thus, even when the expansion force of an air bag is increased and tensile force acting on the gore part 17 and the back part 18 is increased, the hook 23 is not disengaged from the end part of the side bracket 5. |
