<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show a copy sheet to an operator by looping a narrow timing belt between a drive pulley and an idler pulley and by applying a vertical force to the belt. SOLUTION: A copy sheet carrying mechanism 70 has a synthetic rubber timing belt 71 and the belt 71 is looped between a drive pulley 72 and an idler pulley 73 which are provided on rotatable shafts 74, 75. The drive pulley 72 is provided on the shaft 74 such that it can be rotated counterclockwise to carry a sheet in the direction of a copy station. A vertical pressing force is applied to the belt 71 by an idler roll 76 provided on a thin leaf spring 77. This constitution can show a copy sheet to be rejected and provide a hand access area wide enough to take it out.</p> |
