PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering lead by which flying ash is stabilized by removing the lead contained in the flying ash and the removed lead is efficiently recovered. SOLUTION: An acid 2 is added to the flying ash 1 which is discharged from an incineration furnace or an fusion furnace and contain heavy metals such as lead to extract heavy metals except lead and then the ash is subjected to solid-liquid separation. After a solubilizing agent 5 is added to a residue 3 containing lead obtained by the solid-liquid separation to extract lead, the mixture is subjected to the solid-liquid separation. After an insolubilizing agent is added to a filtrate 7 obtained by the solid-liquid separation to insolubilize the lead, the mixture is subjected to the solid-liquid separation.
