PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To humidify the air by utilizing warm air of a heater without using electric energy by indirectly supplying water to an evaporating tube by utilizing capillarity, heating the pipe with warm air of the heater, to evaporate water in the pipe, and humidifying a room. SOLUTION: A water tank 6 is mounted at an existing heater 12, a capillary pipe 4 for passing a capillarity string 3 from an upper part of the tank 6 is suspended, and connected to the pipe 1 via a valve 2 switched by temperature. The pipe 4 from the tank 6 to the valve 2 is formed of silicone rubber or synthetic resin having low thermal conductivity. An air port 5 is formed so that the water in the tank 6 does not at once flow out. Here, when warm air of the heater 12 is diffused, the valve 2 of the warm air is opened, water is fed to the pipe 1, and moisture is discharged from an evaporating port 14 to humidify a room. Thus, it needs almost no energy to increase the humidity, that is, it is an energy saving type. |
