PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out efficient regeneration and separation in a mixed-bed type ion-exchange resin tower containing a cation-exchange resin and an anion- exchange resin having uniform particle size distributions. SOLUTION: This mixed-bed type ion-exchange resin tower containing a cation-exchange resin and an anion-exchange resin having uniform particle size distributions contains at least either one of cation-exchange resin having a smaller average particle size and a wider particle size distribution range than those of the cation-exchange resin and anion-exchange resin having a larger average particle size and a wider particle size distribution range than those of the anion-exchange resin.
