PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate eccentricity, regulat the accuracy of the outer diameter of the roller, and eliminate the entrainment of bubbles by a method wherein a mixture containing a plurality of active hydrogen-containing ether-based polyol, a compound having a plurality of isocyanate group, a catalyst and a foaming agent is mechanically mixed so as to be cast in a tubular mold. SOLUTION: An ether-based polyol containing two or more active hydrogens such as the copolymer of glycerin, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, a compound having two or more isocyanate group such as an isocyanurate-modified TDI, a catalyst such as a triethylamine and a foaming agent such as water are mixed together through mechanical agitation. An obtained mixture is poured in a tubular mold, at the center of which a metal core is arranged, and then heated up to a temperature 70 deg.C or the like. By unloading an obtained foam- molded body, an electrically conductive roller is formed. By forming a coating film on the electrically conductive roller through the application of a coating liquid, in which electrically conductive fillers are dispersed, an electrifying roller 2 is produced. |
