HORN SWITCH MECHANISM OF STEERING WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horn switch mechanism by which the number of part items of an insulating spacer of two installing bolts to a movable plate can be reduced and temporarily fastening strength of an air bag device can be improved. SOLUTION: A horn switch mechanism 30 has a steering wheel core metal 2 side fixing plate 42 which can actuate a horn at mutually electrically continuing time and a movable plate 31 to fasten and install an air bag device 8 in the central vicinity by a bolt. The plate 31 is energized upward from the plate 42, and is arranged so that a separate distance from the plate 42 is regulated by two installing bolts 48 screw-fitted to core metal 2. The two installing bolts 48 and the movable plate 31 are insulated from each other by a single insulating spacer 62. In the insulating spacer 62, a temporarily fastening locking projection 66 of the air bag device 8 is arranged in the both end vicinity separate from the installing bolts of the air bag device 8.
