PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transgenic animal useful or study, etc., of autoimmune diseases, etc., by targeting an altered H2-Ma gene in such a manner that this gene is replaced with the H2-Ma gene of a wild type of an animal (ancestor) in an embryonic stage by using the germ stem cells. SOLUTION: The somatic cells and germ cells include gene coding the Ha-Ma gene of the altered from and the altered gene is targeted in such a manner that this gene is replaced with the wild type H2-Ma gene of the ancestor of the animal in the embryonic stage or the ancestor of the animal by using the germ stem cells. This transgenic animal obtd. by introducing the gene coding the H2-Ma in the altered form designed to target the H2-M gene into move embryo stem cells, implanting the embryo stem cells including the altered H2-Ma gene into the blastocysto of a mouse, transplanting the implanted blastocysto into a recipient mouse and producing the original transgenic mouse having the developed embryo. |
