PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical that contains a nucleotide, and is able to alleviate depressive or anxiety state and improve emotional disturbance. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical, which contains at least one kind of nucleotide, preferably a composition that contains 5'-adenylic acid, disodium 5'- inocinate, disodium 5'-guanylate, 5'-cytidylic acid, disodium 5'-uridylate is taken in or administered in the form of a food, beverage or medicine in one or several doses a day in total dosage of 1mg-100g a day to an adult, thereby revealing central action of the nucleotides that prevents or improves atrabiliary or anxiety state without interfering with brain functions, such as learning function. |
