PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the propagation of bacteria and the generation of mildew and algae in the electrolytic cell, outlet pipe, etc., which are emptied when the generator is shut down. SOLUTION: This electrolytic water generator is provided with the electrolytic cell 20 contg. the first and second electrodes 22 and 23 opposed to each other and receiving and discharging treated water, the means 11 and 12 and V1 for supplying the treated water to the electrolytic cell, the outlet pipes 31, 32, 33 and 34 for discharging the electrolytic water generated in the cell and the means 13 and V2 for discharging the water in the cell and outlet pipes. A means 40 is furnished to supply ozone to the generator which is emptied when the operation is stopped, and a control means V4 is provided to supply ozone to the cell and outlet pipes when the operation is stopped and to stop the supply of ozone when the generator is operated. |
