PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily and efficiently remove a protein included in a liquid by carrying out the coagulation or coagulating sedimentation of the protein to form a precipitate having a sufficient floc strength by adding silica sol and water-soluble high molecular gelatin to the liquid including the protein. SOLUTION: For example, an active carbon in a proportion of 500g/kL is added to a sake and stirred, and the sake with the added active carbon is transferred to a measuring cylinder of 100mL. A silica sol (of 30wt.% silica content) of 0.06mL is added to the sake with the added active carbon so that the proportion of the silica sol may be 600mL/kL and stirred. Further, a water- soluble high molecular gelatin (having about 200,000 weight average molecular weight) of 30g/mL is added to the added sake. As the result, the removing effect of a protein is shown to be larger than that in the comparative example by examining turbidity of the supernatant and the amount of the precipitate after 24hr. |
