PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to surely and easily execute the measuring of a shield joint position irrespective of a construction position of a tunnel. SOLUTION: In a state to oppose first shield machine 1 and second shield machine 2 to each other at a specific interval, a boring hole 9 is formed toward the second shield machine 2 with a boring mechanism 5 of the first shield machine 1. The strength of a sound wave generated from a sound source generating device 7 of the boring mechanism 5 or the arrival time of the sound wave is detected by a sound wave sensor 11 of the second shield machine 2, and after a position of the sound source generating device 7 is is detected, the boring hole 9 is extended, and in the same way, the position of the sound source generating device 7 is detected again. |
