PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain calcium phosphate-base inorg. hollow capsules having a distinctive shape, strength and powder characteristics, excellent in adsorbing characteristics and slow releasing property and harmless to a living body from low-cost starting materials for synthesis. SOLUTION: An aq. suspension of calcium carbonate is allowed to react with an aq. soln. of water-soluble phosphoric acid or its water-soluble salt to form layers of calcium tert. phosphate and/or hydroxyapatite crystals on the surfaces of calcium carbonate particles. The resultant particles are then allowed to react with a water-insoluble calcium phosphate or an aq. suspension of it. By this reaction, the internal calcium carbonate is leached out and a wall material of calcium tert. phosphate and/or hydroxyapatite crystals is formed to obtain the objective hollow capsule particles. |
