The stick for slalom gates has a link (11) held together by a draw spring in the form of a solid polyurethane cylinder (23). The cylinder has a head (24) which supports against the end surface (29) of the link upper part (15). A screw (25) is screwed into one end of the cylinder and with a nut (26) and a washer (27) which supports against the end surface (28) of the link lower part (14) the cylinder can be tensioned. - The stick point (12) is removable and the nut is tightenable so that the draw spring/cylinder can be secured.
