PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make sure of adequate drying and solidifying conditions so as to produce, at a satisfactory yield rate and a low cost, electrodes for battery use with high performance and high reliability, by simulating drying and solidification of the active substance paste applied to a paste holding collector in a mass production process of a battery-use electrode. SOLUTION: A battery-use electrode paste sample is applied on the surface of a resin plate 4 by a constant thickness, placed on a supporter 1 so as to set a sealing cover 7. And the supporter 1 is kept at a specific temperature by a temperature adjusting means 3 and further a constant quantify of hot wind is transmitted by a hot wind generating means 6 and after a lapse of a specific period of time, the sealing cover 7 so as to observe the state of the coating film on the surface of the resin plate 4. The adequate drying and solidification conditions of the applied film are known from the observation results of application/drying/solidification, the heating temperature of the supporter 1 in the temperature adjusting means 3, the hot wind temperature and quantity by a hot wind generation means 5. In this way, by repeating drying/solidification of the applied film simulatedly, adequate drying, solidification condition can be selected for the kinds and composition of the paste for electrode-use. |
