PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control device for a hybrid electric vehicle which makes it possible to avoid the hunting phenomenon of an engine for driving a generator when the vehicle is not traveling. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a generator 12 driven by an engine 10 and a battery 18, which receives the power generated by this generator 12 and supplies power to a motor 16 for driving a vehicle. In this structure, the generator 12 limits its power supply to the battery 18 when gushing of the battery 18 has occurred while the vehicle is not in motion, and lifts the limitation of the power supply when the charging level of the battery 18 dropped. |
