PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase cooling capacity for a heat generating unit and permit the prevention of temperature rise of parts, provided except the heat generating unit, by a method wherein the other end unit of a heat pipe, whose one end unit is connected to the heat generating unit so as to be capable of transferring heat, is connected to a housing so as to be capable of transferring heat. SOLUTION: The heat of a CPU 15, which is transferred from a heat pipe 16 to a cylindrical unit 18a, is transferred to the substantially whole area of a housing 18c. The flow of air is generated in the housing 18c while the heat of CPU 15, which is retained in a microfan 18, is transported by the air to the outside of a personal computer case 14 through exhaust ports. The heat of CPU 15 is discharged to the outside of the personal computer case 14 by the ventilating force of the microfan 18 under a condition that the heat is collected into the metallic housing 18c in such a manner whereby heat will not confined in an internal space and the cooling capacity is increased while the excessive temperature rise of existing parts except the CPU 15 can be prevented.
