PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a virtual space having more natural feeling of depth with a small number of polygons by suitably changing the perspective of texture corresponding to the movement of a subject. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a three-dimensional(3D) position input means 1, signal control part 2, image processing part 3, texture image storage means 4, display control part 5 and display part 6. The change of viewpoint coordinate value with the move of viewpoint is detected by the 3D position input means 1 attached onto the head of subject person. Since a texture image is mapped based on a correspondent point on the polygon, points are generated at positions on polygons corresponding to points at four corners of deep side room drawn in the texture image of polygon. By suitably moving this point matching with the move of viewpoint, the correspondent point on the texture image of polygon is also moved, the texture image is deformed and the perspective of line segment in the depthwise direction of this side room can be matched with. |
