PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict toner scatter and soil to a minimum range and to prevent soil round a developing device by providing, in the main body of the developing device, a toner scatter prevention means which prevents toner added from a replenishment part from moving and scattering into an opening where a developing roller is directly disposed. SOLUTION: A partition plate 33, as the toner scatter prevention means, is interposed between augers 32A and 32B. Also, in a part of an upper lid 30a, a replenishment port 34 is provided. Here, when small-particle-diameter having, highly fluidic toner is caused to fall from the toner replenishment port 34 in order to replenish, part of the toner scatters the moment it falls on developer, and easily floats in an upper empty space between the upper face of a developer storage part and the upper lid 30a of a housing 30. However, the upper empty space is separated by the partition plate 33, and by means of the partition plate 33 at least the toner scattering and floating in the upper empty space on the side of the replenishment port 34 is stopped from scattering and floating into an upper empty space on the side of a magnet roller 31. This sharply decreases toner entering a gap between the housing 30 and the magnet roller 31. |
