PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily clean an optical lens by providing an opening part in the position of a cartridge opposite the optical lens, shutting-off the opening when the cartridge is removed from an optical disk player and providing a cleaning member such that at least its tip is brought into contact with the optical lens. SOLUTION: A cleaner disk 10 having a brush 12 planted therein is loaded in a player in the condition of its being housed in a cartridge 13. The shutter of the cartridge 13 is opened and the disk 10 is rotatably driven by turntable 17 and a chucking disk 18. A block 21 having an optical head mounted thereon is sent by a linear motor while it is guided by a rod 22, an optical lens 19 is moved in the radial direction of the disk 10 and positioned to be contacted with the brush 12. In this condition, a focus operation is carried out by a biaxial device 20, the surface of the lens 19 is wiped by the brush and then dust stuck to the surface is eliminated. |
