PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-recording device having a function of discriminating properly further countermeasures, even when a reading or input operation are interrupted on the occurrence of a fault on the way of reading of an original or on the way of input of external image information. SOLUTION: This original recording device is provided with a read means 4 that reads image information of an original, an image storage means 7 that stores image information reading the read means, fault detection means 35, 45, 63 or the like that detect a fault occurred before the reading of the read means 4 is finished, and a display means 8 that displays information by which whether or not reading of an original is finished, when the fault detection means detect a fault. Furthermore, the display means 8 displays a read image of the original stored in the image storage means on the detection of the fault. Furthermore, the original recording device is also provided with a recording instruction means 9 that instructs recording of an image while reading or an while making input. |
