PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain color filters which satisfy required characteristics, may be inexpensively produced and satisfy surface smoothness by using a specific film for forming a protective film and transferring the protective film forming material on the film onto a transparent substrate surface under pressurizing and heating by using a laminator, thereby forming the protective film. SOLUTION: Patterned light shielding parts consisting of metals or metal oxide or black resins, etc., are formed on the transparent substrate 2, by which the transparent substrate 2 formed with black matrices 1 is obtd. The formation of colored pixels is executed by adhering coloring agents onto the transparent substrate 2. An ink absorption layer compsn. is applied on the transparent substrate 2 formed with the back matrices 1 and is subjected to prebaking at need, by which an ink adsorption layer 3 is formed. Next, the layer is exposed via a photomask 4, by which a cured layer 3' is formed on the ink absorption layer 3. Next the colored pixel parts enclosed by the cured layer 3' are colored with respective colors R, G, B by using a head 5 for ink jet recording. The inks are dried and the protective film 6 is formed thereon. |
