PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system equipped with a cooling device which can increase an effectively-extractable generated electric power, prevent a damage to a device due to freezing, and obtain high- temperature water as required. SOLUTION: Since a power generation capability of a solar battery cell 10 decreases as a temperature rises, a change power generation which is a difference between such electric power as can be generated at a certain temperature and that at a reference temperature is compared to a consumption energy of a pump 18, and the pump 18 is driven only when the change power generation energy is larger than the consumption energy of the pump and a coolant is circulated to cool down a solar battery cell 10. When the solar battery cell 10 falls below 0 deg.C, a valve 20 changeovers so that a cooling water in a coolant channel is discharged from a drain piping 24, thus freezing is prevented. Further, from a hot insulation water bath 14, a high-temperature water before heat- radiation at a radiator 16 is provided. |
