A novel insert for performing injection molding operations. The insert consists of a plurality of injection molds and a removable handle for removably fastening together the plurality of injection molds. The insert includes a linear projections. The linear projection of the insert is configured to removably interlock and/or removably fasten to a linear projectionof a poratable frame. The frame includes support pillars and cooling/heating lines. The insert replaces existing one-piece die units used in conventional injection molding machines. In this manner, a mold changing operation is greatly simplified. The mold is changed by exchanging inserts, and the frame remains in the injection molding machine.
