A blowing machine is disclosed for the manufacture of hollow bodies made out of synthetic material, which in a first sleeve-manufaturing station (1) comprising a plurality of headers disposed adjacent to each other or a header assembly, produces raw pre-moulded pieces with which a blowing mould (11) is filled in a said first station, said blowing mould (11) being integral with a closure system having a cavity number equal to that of the number of, and the raw pre-moulded pieces are blown so as to form hollow bodies in a second blowing station which is displaced from the sleeve station in the closed blowing mould, i.e., a long stroke system; the machine being characterized in that the blowing mould (4, 40) is divided into at least a pair of blowing moulds into a sealing relationship with each other, each having its own closure system (7, 70) and being disposed in a common conveying closure system (12).
