PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the transmission range of broadcasted information and perform management by copyright at broadcast signal transmission and reception facilities. SOLUTION: A transmission device 1 is provided with a multiplexing means 15' which multiplexes output device selection information for selecting an output device outputting a broadcast signal received by a reception device 2 with a broadcast signal, and the reception device 2 is provided with a demultiplexing means 23' which demultiplexes the received broadcast signal into the said output device selection information and an output device selecting means 30 which outputs the received broadcast signal to the output device according to the output device selection information separated by the demultiplexing means 23'. Consequently the transmission range of the transmitted information can be limited and the management by copyright can be performed.
