<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use of weight, volume and cost reduced AC adapter concerning a portable information terminal, which incorporates an input/output device not to be usually used and is provided with a secondary battery chargeable as a power source, by exclusively operating the charge of secondary battery and the input/output device. SOLUTION: A charging managing means 21 manages charging to a power unit. A charging means 22 performs charging to the secondary battery. An input/output managing means 23 manages information for input/output request and exclusive control to an FDD device. An input/output means 24 performs the input/output processing of data to the FDD device. A storage means 25 stores data required for processing an exclusive control function. Then, the charge of secondary battery is operated exclusively with the input/output device. The exclusive control of power source is provided by referring to and changing both a charging control program 26 and an input/output device control program (device driver) 27 corresponding to the input/output device in a power supply state display area inside the storage means 25.</p> |
