PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a processing by appropriately operating the division of an instruction column for a parallel processing in an image forming device which forms an image by operating the parallel processing of the instruction column described in page description language. SOLUTION: An interpreting means 1 interprets a picture plotting instruction described in page description language according to the grammar of the page description language, and generates intermediate expression which is not dependent of language. The intermediate expression is divided into blocks according to grading designated by a grading designating means 3. The divided blocks are distributed to plural converting means 5a, 5b, 5c,... capable of a parallel operation by a distributing means 4, and converted into pixel expression. The converted partial pixel expression is synthesized into a page image by a synthesizing means 6. Thus, the block division is executed for the intermediate expression after the page description language is interpreted so that the blocks of the intermediate expression sharing an attribute can correctly be identified. |
