PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which easily, accurately, and instantly detects frequency in all audio frequency band regions, by providing it with a counting component which counts time intervals between given points of an analog signal, and a frequency determining component which determines the frequency of an input waveform signal based on the counting result. SOLUTION: An inputted analog signal is converted to a digital signal by a A/D converter 10, and then entered into a DSP 12. The digital signal is converted to an analog signal by a second A/D converter 30, the analog signal is transmitted from the converter 30 to a binary processor 32, and the analog signal receives binary process such as detection of a zero-cross point or a peak point in the processor 32. The binary signal outputted from the binary processor 32 is entered into a counter 36, time intervals of logically changing binary signal is counted, and the frequency of an original input signal is calculated based on the counted value. |
